New Forest Airfields
The Airfields of the New Forest Project is based on the book Twelve Airfields by Alan Brown which is available from the New Forest gift shop in Lyndhurst in the heart of the New Forest. The Airfields of the New Forest vary from a famous seaplane base to the Advanced Landing Grounds (ALGs) and an early Flying School.

Beaulieu WW2 **Pending**
Ibsley **Pending**
Beaulieu East Boldre (Pre WW1 Flying School) **Pending**
Calshot (seaplane base) **Pending**
Christchurch (aircraft factory and ALG) **Pending**
Winkton (ALG) **complete**
Bisterne (ALG) **Pending**
Lymington (ALG) **Pending**
and Needs Oar Point (ALG) **Pending**
As time permits I hope to return to CFS2 at some point to complete the New Forest Airfields Project, perhaps as a collaborative project with other add-on creators for CFS2 now that it appears there is still life left in the old sim!

They will take a long time to create but the result I hope will be the most detailed large area ever in CFS2. It will feature the forest itself plus all the main towns and villages. Even perhaps the docks at Southampton, Poole and Bucklers Hard. It will probably work best on the latest generation of fast computers.
